UKE HID 4 C cell

I just came from a dive shop that told me that a Rep told him about a design that UK has for a handheld 4 C cell HID light - should be interesting.

That's a little hard to do. 4 x C cells will give a maximum of 6V. I don't know of any arc lamp that can run from 6V. The ballast would have to step up the voltage 10X ... a far stretch. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for this one.
