Bought six of those from DX together witha charger and a cree drop in to be placed in one of my sf that uses P60. Drop the battery in and tried it with a P60 - blew the bulb! There goes my first ever P60 from my 6P.

So those who are just as 'smart' as I am, please don't even think about using the battery (3.6V each) on your original surefire bulb without doing any reserach first. Would appreciate it if anybody who has used this cell on a sf to list down the bulb/s that the 16340 will work on. I have an E1e, E2e and C3 that I thought of using the batteries with 🙁

But damn am I pissed with losing that bulb - it doesn't comes cheap at my part of the world. Was hoping I would have two P60 as backup (already has one backup when replacing the P61 on my G2).

oh ya just to add, the filamen on my P60 that alledgedly blew still in tact though, confused!!

Next DX order, get the 7.4V 15W lamp assembly - it's really bright. The last one I got was under $5US. I've also got the 9V, also bright, but (subjectively) not as bright with 2XRCR123A. I also got the 17670 and a 3.7V LA. I'm using that in a Ultrafire, but it fit in my G2. I kept the G2 for 7.4V incan because the Ultrafire 502b will hold 1x18650, 2xCR123a, but not my protected 2xRCR123a.

Thanks guys.. might try the battery with my P90 from C3 and put in my G2. Gave my 6P with cree to my dad already.
 
Just realize it might be too hot for the lens.. hmmm.

I only have two G2 and one G2Z to play around with the batteries.. think i should get another 6P or C2.
