on the side of the batteries, it says "High rate discharge" does this mean i get the old Nimh problem of them discharging quickly? btw they are protected cells 3.6v http://dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3273
"High rate discharge" means the battery was designed to work well when discharged at a high rate of current. How true this is for the particular battery depends on the honesty of the manufacturer, which should be subject to a very critical eye.
Li-ion cells are subject to self discharge, but at a rate much lower than non-Eneloop class NiMH cells.
