I just got the Ultrafire C1 V2 Stainless Steel from Kai Domain.

http://www.kaidomain.com/WEBUI/ProductDetail.aspx?TranID=1553

Shipping took 14 days.

The fit and finish is OK. The C1 has some machine marks and chips.

The twist action is very tight. It is due to the o-ring.

Single stage direct drive.

When light is off some battery rattle noted.

The C1 is heavy. It must be Stainless Steel.

AW's Protected RCR123 fits with no problems.

it looks really nice to my eyes, and it's got more throw than the P1D-CE :)

Just got mine, too. Look really nice. :D

I bought several for my friends and noticed that they came both with old XR-E (3 bond wires) and new version XR-E (4 bond wires). The color differs from a little greenish light yellow to very white.

It needs a corn pad mod, but it's pity I couldn't find the corn pad here.

Just done the runtime test. The current draw is larger, thus the runtime isn't good. :ohgeez:

The current draw are:
AW 3.7v RCR123: 1.15A
AW LiFePO4: 0.94A
Tenergy 3.0v RCR123: 0.92A
Sanyo CR123A: 0.91A

NetKidz,

Thanks for the runtime chart. I remember reading somewhere the runtime is short.

Maybe this explains why the C1 SS is brighter than the Fenix P1D CE. Brighter, shorter runtime.

I changed the O ring for a thinner one nice and smooth to turn now, also made a foam donut for the bottom.

Yes, that's the trade-off.

Kai is still selling un-glued v1 for lower price. Maybe a 0.6" FluPic will fit?

I just ran mine about 10 minutes or so and it got warm but not uncomfortably so. :)
