Ultrafire C3 Cree Q3 6-Mode DX#12395 current draw concern

I just received two of these from DX. Here are the measured battery currents in mA in three modes using eneloops:

#1
1xaa 2xaa
High 900 350
Med 350 140
Low 130 60

#2
1xaa 2xaa
High 1900 3800
Med 1000 430
Low 280 130

Appears to be something really wrong with #2. I wish #1 was higher in 2aa high mode. Not happy with these.

Could DX send me a new head or will I have to return the entire flashlight?
