UltraFire H6 stopped working - what to do now?

I picked up an UltraFilre H6 and it worked well for a time, but now it won't even turn on. It did not get wet. I have sent about a dozen emails to the proper address listed on the UltraFire site, but not a single response.

Can anyone provide me with a primer on how to isolate the component that is dead? I do have a digital volt meter. Perhaps I could fix it, but if not, to the BST as a 'for repair' sale.

Thanks,

Tyson

Hasn't someone posted a step by step diagnostic procedure for a dead light here on CPF somewhere? Thought I saw one but don't recall.

I know this thread is a little old, did you get it running? I have read heard that the uf h6 has problems with the tail cap being tight enough to make contact. Maybe this can help someone else who has the light...

today on a Fenix website, I came across a link in troubleshooting flashlight problems. I didn't go there, just saw it in passing. Go to some Fenix websites and look at the menu topics on the left hand side, you'll find it.
