Ultrafires in G2 with M60

Hey guys,

I just ordered some ultrafire 16340 rcr123a's for use with my g2 with a M60 drop in. The problem is they do not work! All i get when i put them in is a quick flash when screwing the tail cap on, then nothing. I know the batteries are a couple mm longer than standard 123's but would that matter with the twist on tail cap?

Did you mean Ultrafire 18350's? They are longer, and some battery tubes are too short for 2 of them. When cells are almost at the end of the battery tube, you can get erratic performance from them, and some of my lights will not even turn on.

Edit: Yes, the G2 is shorter than later model SF C series bodies, and can be a problem with longer RCR123's.

recommend rcr123's for G2 with M60

I now know that the ultrafire 16340 880 mAh 3.6v will not work. The m60 is supposed to be able to handle 9v but these do not work for some reason. Does anyone run the same light with higher voltage rcr's? What brand should i be looking into?
