Are these any good? They seem to be the only ones I've found for sale over the counter here in Portugal. Besides, the price is really high, almost 15€, but sometimes having a store nearby is really handy. So, regardless of price, is anyone familiar with these batteries?

15 euro for ONE RCR123? Are you out of your mind? Order a few from DX, or from AW if you want superhigh quality, and they'll cost you much less.

are you talking about rechargeable RCR123s, or primary CR123s?

CR-123 is a designation for primary non-rechargeable cells
600mAH is a common label capacity for rechargeable lithium-ion cells in this size.
3.0V is a primary cell voltage but found on some specialty rechargeable cells.
The price seems way too high for either, more inline with an overpriced rechargeable, or a really really overpriced primary. :thumbsdow

I guess what I am saying is I have no idea what you are talking about? :caution::ohgeez:

is this it?

I's say pass. Plenty of other similar options for far less money. a LiFeP04 RCR123 kit online with 4 cells and 2 cell cradle charger can be had for about that price.

Yep, it's the bat in that link Battery only, take notice.

I guess most forum users are a bit off when it comes to the street price of many items in Europe. For instance, current price for a Leatherman Wave is over 150€, whereas in the States you can find them around 70 USD... A spydie Millie goes for 250€, online USA sellers have them for around 110 USD. And, take notice, this kind of items is extremely rare. No wonder, with these prices they don't sell much, especially considering normal (low) salaries around here.

As for this battery, it is the only kind of rechargeable 123-type I've found, and even this one is pretty rare, only FNAC sells them (to my knowledge).

Due to stating 3,0V I recon it's an unprotected rechargeable, and putting it in my Ultrafire 138 charger set to 3,0V yelded the expected results: my flashlights do light up as expected.
