...and to the incredible outpouring of thoughts and prayers, let me add one more: get well soon, LifeNRA. You've got the entire board pulling for you.

EDIT: I just checked and saw that my last post was nearly 4 months ago, so you're getting over 120 days' worth of built-up karma and good will all stuffed up into my little 2-line post. That's *gotta* have some healing power, no?

Re: Jeff (LifeNRA) had a heart attack, prayers needed

HI GUYS! :)

Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. I appreciate them all very much.

I am home now. The mitral valve in my heart has muscles that are too long and they hung up thus causing the heart attack. It was a mild heart attack but it felt like someone hit me in the chest with a baseball bat. I will be honest and tell you that it scared me a little. I am still sore and the Doctor has told me to not do anything stressful and to get plenty of rest.
I asked my wife to contact greenLED and let him know what was going on just in case I was not going to be onlline for a while. I wouldn't want all of you wondering what had happened to me. :grin2:
Like one poster said, I was in the right place at the right time when it happened and for that I am thankful. That was a blessing.

I am sore and tired feeling so I will be going back to bed shortly. Thank you all very much for the support. I will be back to my old self before too much longer and then I will get the cancer licked and be running around like a younger man in no time. No worries.

Take care and God bless,
Jeff

Hi Sigman,
I saw where you asked for the name but I just thought you were going to send flowers or something. :lolsign:
I am sorry if it seemed that I ignored your question. Kim thought the same so forgive us both. We didn't want anyone calling or sending anything if I was not there today.

PM coming.
Jeff
