maybe a stupid question: can I use my Malkoff M60 with a 1C body or do i've stick to 2c?
I don't like to stay suddenly in the dark, when my 2 protected cells quit work, because the protection circuit shuts the batterys down (as today with my 2 R123).

Yes you can but when you drop to 3.7v it will go into direct drive, It would be better suited for the 2C. Besides their are no more 1C's available at this time.

Hopefully, the new year will bring more Malakoff drop in's and AW C cells. (IMRs even better!)

Thanks olrac and your sharing first, olrac's photos have already make me clearly about the tailcap. I just received FM2,3C yesterday, it is beautiful matching with 3" Turbohead! and I'm waiting for AW's C-li-ion new sales thread....

btw, is the tailcap with softstart? (seems not....? )
