URGENT ADVICE NEEDED : surefire G2 with P90/P91?

Dear fellow flashaholic,

Can someone tell me if it is possible to fix or attach a Surefire P90 replacement to my Surefire G2? What I am concern is the size of the bulb or bezel etc....
Also, P90/P91 runs on 9v, G2 runs on 6V, but if I use a Rechargable CR123 which produces 8.4V, will it be under power for the P90/P91 or not bright enough or battery time shorten due to the difference between 9V and 8.4V?
Please help?

Pleasure.
I'm not sure about the nano, haven't got one. I have the Charger from BatteryStation with the 2 x slots for the protected RCR123's and works fine with the unprotected RCR123's. Cuts off fine at about 4.15V with the Green Led.
I also have a Pro Peak Mercury Ex Charger which chargers Li-ion's as well.
I have a transformer for the BatteryStation charger because it's 110V with the 2xPin plug. The transformer is from eBay about £10 and transforms the 240V to 110V. Coooool.

I also have BatteryStation charger for RCR123's. It is nice and fast, less than two hours charging, and cells are ready to come out. Some of the chargers available out there are taking 24 hours+ to bring cells to 4.15-4.20 volts.

Yeah the UK, check out ebay & seach with 240v to 110v.
Found this one 240V to 110V on ebay for you.
£8.99 plus £3.99 postage.

my current favorite incandescent combination is the G2 with a P90 driven by two 17355 700mAh CR123-size rechargeables from CPF member AW, who also sold me an excellent 240V two bay charger.
This is after I tried a P61 on standard 123's (supposedly from 60 to 120 lumens, can only just tell), and the LED drop-in from bugoutgear (whiter light, still, not that exciting).
The P90 on two 123 rechargeables kicks some serious bottom, it is the incandescent version of the Surefire L4, a wall of light, with the added advantage of throw and much better color contrast than LED's can have....
Using unprotected R123's I monitor the charging process (no leaving these ones in unattended, they get warm and start creeping over 4.2V), and I recharge them at the first sign of dimming (hopefully before they dip below 3V).
A cheap Tandy (Radioshack) Digital Multimeter is a great help- no great science here, just select Volts DC and off you go....

How is the run time on P90 with unprotected R123? What is the best way to monitor the R123 when charging and when inside the torch? How do you know exactly when charging is full and when you need to recharage? How can I get in touch with AW....?

- bit hazy on the runtime, charge every week or so, as soon as the light dims, guess 20 min/half an hour...
- there's an indicator light on the charger, but I also check for temperature and I measure voltage after (typically 4.13V, should not go over 4.2V for the sake of the life of the batt)
