using 2 tenergy 3.0v rcr123

I used two of the tenergy 3.0v 900ma in my light. When it went dead I wanted to see if it cut off at 2.5v, one didn't read and the other was 3.3v. Any thoughts, the light was a Cyclops of that helps. Also will these work in an eotech 516
