Using NiMH batteries in CC Expedition?

Just wondering, I'm looking at getting the CC Expedition (Trek 7), and I usually use NiMH rechargeables in most of my other lights; would these cause any problems? Not sure of the actual ma output, but I've heard they keep a constant charge and can limit standard incandescent bulbs.

You can use NiMH in the light but it will be dimmer than if using alkaline cells. I bet the Trek 7 with NiMH would be about the same as a lightwave 2000 using alkaline's. I use Rayovac Renewals in mine since they run at 1.5v as opposed to the 1.25v per cell of NiMH, but they only recharge about 15 to 20 times.
