Vanson BC1HU discharging problem

I just got the Vanson BC1HU Speedy Box charger the other day but I am having trouble with the discharge function. I put 4 Energizer 2300 mAh batteries which I just bought into the charger and pressed the discharge button. The LED's have been blinking for over 12 hours now, and it still hasn't started the charging cycle. Is it normal for it to take this long or is there something wrong?

The back of your Speedy Box should note a discharge rate of 350mA's for AA's. I never use the discharge feature, but maybe with four cells inserted the discharge rate is lower. If you have a DMM hook it up and see what the discharge rate is. Take the cells out and check the voltage.
