These reflectors are for Incandescent only.
Limited quantity of large opening (16mm) for P7 models will be available soon in separate thread.

---

16mm opening of deep reflector makes the focal point on edge and same height of reflector, therefore part of light will escape under the reflector and this is because HIDs and Incandescents spread the light in wider angle while LEDs will do about 180 degree.

---

I don't completely understand why incandescent bulbs will work and HID's wont. You say that HID's output light in every direction, even downward. Don't incan's do the same?

If you insist this wont work correctly, can you recommend a good reflector for an HID mag?

Post #1 clearly says:
Bulb opening is 8.5mm
If your HID bulb will fit 8.5mm opening, then this reflector will work for you otherwise, 2.5" Throw Master or FM3" with 12.7mm opening will serve better.

Fivemega,

I see that you often answer basically the same questions about reflectors over and over again in various threads.
Buying reflectors can be confusing for newcomers. When a new design of you comes out even the more experienced sometimes wonder how it behaves compared to your other designs. You put al lot of thought into your designs and I am sure you design them for a specific purpose.

Would it be an idea for you to make a short description of various of your reflectors and intended use and beam shape and put that on the bottom of your sales threads?
