sometimes your local youtube server will be up and down, but my one seems to be working well these days. Rarely does it have any problems.

i cant watch youtube at work,

can u tell me how well the pocket clips works?

The pocket clip is good, but tough to remove and reattach in my opinion. As it comes already on its really nice and useful, until you take it off which is very hard without pliers. All in all im VERY impressed. I can see nice and long ranges with it.

How do you compare it to the Q5 PD30 is there any noticeable difference in throw color rendition or overall quality in your opinion? because i have the P3D Rebel and the PD30 Q5 plus the lod rebel on my keychain.

The tint is more of a blank white, and thus gives me slightly better identification than the original PD30 in my opinion. The throw appears to be slightly more, but not by any vast difference.

Who here has an original PD30 whos still thinking of getting a PD30+ ? Im feeling like im the only guy here who will spend money on something "i already have" lol.. Anyone? :candle:

Thanks for posting the video. I just placed my order for the "+" and while I sold my origional PD30 a long time ago... I would have most likely bought the new one anyway....I am really impressed with Fenix's new lights.

I'm definitely thinking about it i like the new knurling on the body but im also thinking if i wait 6 more months they will have 300+ lumen's so being that i already have the P3D Rebel and the PD30 i think im going to wait.:candle:

See i think about that too. However i am impatient .

More useful than R2D2

Can't wait to get mine today, looks like it may have tighter hotspot then the regular PD30. I am more happy about the knurling on the battery tube because I hold in a cigar grip and that should help. Thanks for the video.

What do you think now you presumably have had it for a couple days or so

I love it think it is the best PD30 yet. The reflector has been upgraded to a hybrid type which looks weird while hunting white walls, its almost a clover pattern around the hotspot but nothing to worry about because I can't see it in normal use.

The tint is almost neutral to my eyes, much better than even PD30 in the past. I love the knurling and square threads that was a much needed update for sure.

As I said in another post if your a PD30 fan this is like a dream light and if you have considered one in the past but not pulled the trigger maybe because of lack of knurling of pocket clip then this could be a good time to pick one up.

And I do see a very slight increase vs. the older PD30 in brightness while lighting up a object at a distance. I love the new reflector design, although its not for people who want to white wall hunt.

I almost forgot what I think is maybe the best update to the PD30+ is the larger anti-roll lug. It provides alot more surface are for twisting the head into/out of turbo. It makes one handed twisting easy for me.

This is a great utility light a workman's light if you will.
