I think I remember reading that Gene had provided wavy washers to folks that had connection issues in the E-series. I've not had any problems with VME heads with Malkoff bodies and drop-ins in the past.

18mm cells in the E-series format is certainly rare. I've wondered the same about 18500. To me it seems like that size cell is perfect for a pocketable light but you don't see many lights designed around it.

These LF bodies and switches are pretty nice. I'm sure you'll enjoy it once you pull the trigger on one.

Almost the same mah capacity in 14500 vs 18350 and in a slimmer package but I gotta admit LF body and tail look pretty great with vme.

I really need to revisit what size fits best in my pocket.
18350 might be too chunky.
I don't holster carry.
I've been spoiled by the tiny AAA lights that just disappear in my pocket.

I have quite a few AA lights and there's a lot of size variation in the 14500 light size.

I carry a VME/MDC 14500 combo every day. You won't believe how tiny that 18350 LF body feels in comparison. The MDC AA body is much thicker than it needs to be, and the LF body has very thin walls. It's 0.8 mm thick at the thinnest point (at the oring). It feels delicate in comparison.

Summer's here and that means no coats and pockets so I'm not even using vme much unless i want 500lumens for 15 min with an M91. Otherwise it's cr123 all the time with sho or 3.7 3 mode which covers most of my uses. MDX's are waiting at home for a road trip or cooler temps. Can't fight the weather.

didnt know glock made a 33 round mag for a 10mm?!?
LOL

Oh those are for the backup G26 tucked in my boot.

My 10mm mags are Kriss extension kits. I took them off my belt so that I wouldn't look excessive
