This may be a stupid question but does anyone know a website that sells potted wa01185 bulbs? I can find them through litho but just wanted to know if there was a website. :confused:

These are not potted per se, but are in pr to bi pin sockets that can be dropped right in like a potted bulb. After you have the socket you can use bi pins from that point on. The sockets are re usalble.

The only website that I've ever known to have them is light-edge.com. A BiPin socket will work, too, and could save you money in the long run, depending on how many bulbs you go through. (bi-pins are cheaper) Northern Lights, Fivemega (premium), and Kaidomain are all providers of these sockets.
 
I think you are best off with a Kiu socket or equivalent. Potting increases stress on the bulb, and those PR to bi-pin adapters, hmm, maybe they're ok but I'd think it's one more mechanical connection and source of electrical resistance and potential flakiness.
