What do you guys think? Will the Saint be worth the extra money? I haven't read any quality issues with the Zebralights lately. Are there any recent issues?

Nick

I have a Zebralight H50 (i think) and a Apex. I never use the ZebraLight. If you want to light up the front seat of the car the Zebralight would be the way to go. If you want to light up Half the yard get the Apex. If the Saint used 4 AA's I would give it a try. As it is I am going to purchase another Apex. I am though not happy with the plastic parts on the Apex that breaks easily.

Thanks for the info. I had a PT Quad and it just died on me for what appears to be no reason. I really liked it so I'm disappointed. The EOS is on my short list as well, but I really wonder if Surefire is truly that much better in the quality department.

Unless you absolutely need a headlamp now I'd wait a few months and see what kind of reviews we get for the Saint. However, from what I've seen of it so far it certainly seems to be in line with what I would expect from Surefire, a well thought out and finely executed piece of gear that will probably outlast both of us.

I am going to wait for the Saint. However, I have played with the Zebra and it is a pretty nice light. But the flexibility of the Saint has me really interested.

Here ya go, Let us know how you like it.

When I saw what they were wanting for it, I wasn't about to hit the "add to the cart" button! Looks to be about double the price it should be.

If you were happy with the quad, you will love the zebra. If you are looking for more, wait for the saint.

I like the flexibility of the Saint, but I have to admit the price is a sticking point. I'll probably wait for reviews before I take the plunge, but I really like the idea of owning one.

If I was going to get a Saint, I would invest a bit more money and get something like a Sten-Light instead. Or wait a bit longer and see what the next version of the Serv-Light is going to be.

I still want to play with a Saint, but it just seems a LOT of money considering that other much cheaper headlamps may out-perform it (although I am sure the Saint is likely more durable than the plastic lamps.
