Well I just got a Jetbeam BC25 and I am really happy with it but I realized it is "only" 9000cd and throws 189 meters and lights like the 337lm TK15 and the 468lm TK21 out throw it. So I want to get something like the TK41 55xxxcd NICE! but is there anything better? Thurnite catapult maybe? but there getting on the kinda large side, buget cap is about $150 and I want something with a tight but usable doughnut free beam not a 200lm pencil beam. I also thought about the Armytech Predator but all I know about it is that it's an XP-G with 490lm.

Get the M3X.

I also own the BC25, i got this because its the best thrower in its size. The other 1x18650 throwers have much larger heads, this one is easy on the pocket! Among the single cell (without aspheric lenses), the king could be the Xeno G42. The head's as big as the Thrunite Catapult.

Check out also Marshall's youtube video on Thrower Challenge where he compares the M3X, the TK35 and the Cat V3.

Well, BC25 is not a thrower at all, most similarily sized XP-G flashlights outthrows it easily. I think one of the best throwers in the market today is Olight M3X.

If you want the most consistent XM-L thrower on the production market, the M3X is the ticket. I know some guys say Crelant 7G5, but word is that Crelant may have made some internal changes that the original ones didn't have. My M3X whipped my first 7G5. I am awaiting my 2nd one. But quality control by Crelant is questionable from the newer 7G5's vs the original ones for brightness and throw.

I did but I wish the TK41 was in it I'll watch it again to see M3X vs. Catapult. The BC25 is a great general light I was just unaware lights with half the lumens out threw it.

sorry to correct you, it IS the best XML thrower in its size it is the smallest XML thrower you can find. Do your research before you shoot off comments. I also own XPG throwers and they throw just about the same albeit the lower lumens. And yes, the best of the 2x18650 format throwers is the M3X followed by the Cat V3.

I've been leaning toward the Catapult v3 for a few weeks now. Being built like a tank and, to my eye, looking aesthetically way better is worth something, as is the better UI for my preference. I think it throws a little bit less than the M3X but the small difference doesn't matter much to me.

Wait till Shot Show. 4Sevens has 3 pieces of XM-18 for sale. That is freaking 18,000 lumens of output! Would it appeal to you?

Ahhh it will probably be a lot of money and huge.

Are there any others besides the M3X and Catapult? I like the Catapult but from videos it doesn't look like it has much spill.

Well a TK41 is 55,XXX so lets go for 70-100,000 What are the ratings for the M3X and Catapult? The TK70 is 130,XXX but thats to big of a light.

What about a Mag-lite mod? There 2D makes 37567cd with only 134lm, imagine it with 700lm :O or even an XP-G with 400 some?
And there LED Mini-Mag makes 4990CD with only 77lm but the XL50 out throws the XL200 haha

So the Sunwayman and Catapult are out for various reasons I'm looking at the M3X and 7G5 but I am wondering how the Jetbeam M2S would compare? I really like the interface.

How large a hot spot, with how many Lux, do you want to have at what range, for under $150?

😀

I would like a tipical XM-L sized hotspot about 1 foot but I would like it very narrow, SR90 style profile with a very narrow lightsaber beam and a abrupt trasition to a uniform spill. I'm thinking maybe something custom? And I would say under $200. Also the more/lowest brightness levels the better.
