With the last post over a year old.
So, I thought I'd wake the sleeping dog and ask you all what you are wearing on your wrist, or hiding in a drawer!
I have a modest collection that I have been building for several years. With the costs into the several thousand dollar range for some watches, it takes me a while to save up the funds!
So, here are my pieces (excuse the poor pictures- most are just to catalogue them for insurance, but some are OK)
Latest, and greatest. The Omega Seamaster Planet ocean (Latest James Bond watch):
This was not my first Omega... The Seamaster GMT:
A Vostok Europe (Russian) Submarine: (this pic is a bit better- watch is for sale)
My "Nolex" on an old James Bond NATO strap (ETA movement):
My Grandfather's Hamilton Packet Watch (works perfectly):
My first 'real' watch: Tag Heuer 2000 chronograph. Made just after Tag bought Heuer, purchased by me in 1988:
My Swatch, original run from 1984:
Star Wars watch from 1977. Swiss hand-wind movement:
Remember these? Red LED display- it has TWO button cells inside, that last about a year of infrequent use!:
A set of gold Waltham pocket watches; "His n Her's" (in need of service):
Last in my collection (and for sale) the Casio Pathfinder Titanium:
Finally, a photo contest entry photo of my Planet Ocean (and friends):
Let's see those watches!
PS I am a member of www.watchtalkforums.info and all collectors (or aspiring collectors) are welcome!
