Finally found the Watercolors (light and sound sculpture) at Walmart. What a deal for $16! The solid glass globe with the air bubbles alone seems worth that much. Really looks beautiful as the LEDs cycle thru the colors. Doubt I'll use any of the 6 nature sounds modes, but they are done quite well.

I found the light at a Walmart that where it previously was out of stock, so if the shelves are empty at your store there is still hope.

This may be heretical, but I wish there were a switch to turn off the LED's while using the sound ambience feature-
Kinda wasted as I lay there with my eyes closed, I figured.

When I first heard these were back in stock, I went to Walmart only to find a trash out display model... So they did get some in. Either they didn't get many or some dealer came in an bought the entire lot.

found one today at wal-mart in fairless hills pa. (ron?). there wasn't one on display but there were 4 of them on a shelf about knee-hi. a very nice product @ $16.47. i may get another as a gift.

Oops. I've been negligent in failing to reply to a question. Sorry. I got mine at the Walmart on Rt. 10 in Succassunna, NJ.

Had a 4.5V AC adapter that I tried to use with it, but the plug was the wrong size. Will have to pick one up at Radio Shack.

Ron unfortunately the closest I get is when I go to Ray's on Rte 22. I am down by the shore.

I found one today at our local Walmart. I'd checked before, but only found the sticker marking it's place on the shelf. Today I grabbed one, based on nothing more than the fact that the CPFers that had tried them liked them. I'm glad I did.

It runs off of three AA cells, or an optional wallwart 4.5 volt DC 150ma transformer. I'd originally intended to place it in the den, but my wife took an immediate liking to it and decided it would look best sitting next to her on an end table. She likes it running in demo mode, with the sounds supplementing the sounds of her indoor electronic wind chimes. It creates a pleasant relaxing sight and sound.

Hmmm.. I don't really know what to do about this fascination of hers for lights and gadgetry. What kind of behavior is that anyway?

Have you guys seen this?

I saw this item at the mall, but there wasn't a display model. It appears to be similar to the standard Watercolors unit, but with a few more features. Unfortunately, since it is a Spencer exclusive, you're stuck with the "discount" mall price of $39.99. There is a 15% online coupon, but it's still too expensive for my tastes. The store seems to put a lot of stuff on sale, so if I ever see it for around $25, I may give it a shot. Until then, I'm happy with my $17 unit.

Where in Walmart did you find this? I assume the sound is that of waves breaking on shore?

Ken,
They are in the lamp section, along with the Lava lamps and such. That area is usually near the wall clocks and furniture.
