I am looking for a waterproof (up to 3m (10ft)) battery holder for 2-4 AA batteries. Is there anything commercially available? The only one's I can think of is the battery packs of the Petzl Duo (water resistant) and the PT Switchback (C-cell size). The other option would be to modify an existing flashlight body. Any other ideas?

I buy 3/4 inch clear plastic tube from TAP plastics and the matching size press-on endcaps. The tube comes in 6 foot lengths so you simply cut it to whatever length you want for battery capacity. This is about the cheapest, most compact method of carrying spare batteries that I have found.
