Hi guys,

I have assembled 45 lights for this wave. These are an Aleph Mule head coupled with a new design power pak; the Aleph McClickie. The head and power pak are EN (nickel) plated aluminum (6061T6). The light engine is a Cree XR-E (Q4 bin) driven by a NexGen 400 converter. These are strictly for use with lithium primaries. The NexGen is very efficient and has a great track record and I wanted these lights to be simple and dependable and efficient.

The window is 1 mm thick mineral glass with no A/R coating. This is a simple, single speed, flood light. The clip is titanium with a tumbled finish and fastened on the McClickie pak with stainless steel screws.

The components in this light are Aleph and E series compatible and obviously they can be used in other configurations but this wave is an offer strictly for complete lights.

To show compatibility of the Aleph McClickie, below it is mated to a SF KL1:

The Aleph McClickie is a unified battery tube and tail cap of the same design integrating the switch as the titanium C paks I built for use with the "x2" heads.

These lights go for $175 plus shipping and any insurance requested. For the general info on how I do business, please refer to the Pricing and Ordering Thread.

If you would like one of these, please send me an E-mail with AMc-Mule in the subject line and in the body of the e-mail, please include your real name and mailing address as well as your CPF name. I ship via Priority Mail by default and if you want the light shipped by other means or want insurance as well, please specify so in the e-mail.

If you have any questions or concerns, please bring them up here in this thread so that others may benefit as well.

Thanks for looking!

Very nice!

Will the battery tube/McClickie be available for sale separately...at least in the future?

:)

Carpe,
At present, I can't see much past these EN plated sets I had made coupled with a few Ti projects in the works. I should point out that this pak requires a ground path through it and that is why it lent itself well to the Ti and now the EN plating here. I anticipate folks asking about HA-Nat and slate anodize and anodize would require either masking or breaking through the anodize after plating.

The short answer is I don't know.

Re: Wave of Aleph McClickie Mules (AMc-Mule)

Why "strictly for lithium primaries"? Does this mean the NexGen is incompatible with rechargeable lithiums?

In this day and age of efficient, reliable, high-power rechargeables, what is the advantage (not to mention ultimate cost) of a primary-only design?

Very nice, Don!

Who'd have thunk we'd ever see the day... an E-series compatible body/switch combo that looks like a classic McLux PD? Now when's the Ti version coming out? :naughty:
