Hi All! This is my first post to the forum after just finding it recently. Boy, am I getting an education. So far, I've been able to hold off that urge to buy another flashlight, but this forum is addictive!

My question! Just recently got a Trek 6000 light. Am very impressed with the brightness and smoothness of the beam (using the faceted reflector), but is there a different bulb that might be substituted to increase the light even more? Don't get me wrong, I really like the Trek 6000 but I'm sure many of you have probably asked the same question before, maybe just different lights. Factory specs are: Xenon bulb (push-in type), bulb life - 25 hours, 4-5 hours continuous use, 6 C-cell alkalines recommended, 7.65 watts.

Thanks, in advance, for any recommendations!

I would also be interested in a super duper bulb. I modified one of mine (a test sample that was damaged and later repaired) to use as the headlight on my wheelchair.
It's bright enough, but I'd love to go brighter yet since I can't afford to buy a UK Light Cannon.
