Personally only purchased two in the last 4~5 years.

What I want is a Canik .357Sig with a 5.25" barrel,, gotta have length to use up that extra powder.
now they just have to make it_:cool:

1,350ft/s ~ 506ft/lbs with 125gr vanilla ammo

Nice collection, I especially like that Dragoon!
Thank you. The Dragoon is a monster! A friend and I took it and a few other pistols to a local range. My friend discharged one round from the .44 and promptly set it down. He told me he was finished shooting it. I noticed everybody in the range stepped back from their lane, and L@@Ked to see what the hell he was shooting.

I discharged the remaining five rounds and haven't experienced a desire to shoot it again.

Neither one of us enjoyed the experience. :(

Canik is excellent. Competition pistol out of the box. A guy named Nills Jonnason is one of the best shooters on the planet and he wins national events with a stock polymer Canik.

Funny thing with polymer vs steel is that when you put good shooters on a shot timer…there's really just a .03 second split difference in shots with polymer and most prefer the polymer.
re: Canik
kerneldrop is a very knowledgeable competitive shooter

Canik trigger action and follow up pulls are of the best in any price range.
Personally only have one, a METE Pro in 5" barrel

I know guys that own several

i heard they can be ammo picky which i dont like .but i still like them over glock. my dream would be the sig p365 macro or maybe hell cat

Most people already fully understand what I'm about to say, so I mean no insult.

Semi-auto is a balancing act of slide spring and magazine spring working with the power of a round.
I have firearms that don't care what ammo, I have a 1911 in 10mm the gets grumpy if I use faster/higher pressure round.
..gave it some thought and feel the magazine spring just isn't stout enough for the action & speed of a +P round in 10mm
(it's just not on the same page)

This is why you practice and test ammo,
so if you have it loaded there are no surprises.

i always assumed a heavier grain is better like nato 124 os 115 in 9mm

Honestly bullet-shape has more to do with effectiveness than the amount of powder behind it. Especially when it's something like 115 grains vs. 124.

a little fyi
15.5 grain is 1 gram

Noticed this today; Hornady has a new HAP line of hollowpoint reload bullets .
Its a refinement from their XTP hollows. The refinement gets them to a higher competition quality.
I have some XTP* for reload but honestly I don't reload 9mm, it's just not worth the time.
got them just to have or a rainy day

also have in .30cal 'pistol' for my Tokarev,
aaaaand maybe 10mm, have to look;)
