Hey guys Im a noob just wanted to ask what flashlight is good for a welder. I dont need throw at all but needs to be small pocket siz budget is $30. Needs to be bright. I need to see throught a 1/8inch gap to see the inside of a pipe. Made in america would be nice but not required

The only light I have that I have used and would recommend is the Maglite XL50. It's 30 bucks at Walmart, uses AAA, pocket size, 3 modes, real durable, and water proof to an extent. Only downside is it seems to use the batteries up quick but the way I use it I may use it more than I realize and meet the estimated runtime.

I think the only Made in USA light in that price range is Maglite.

If you don't need Made in USA, Shiningbeam (who is based in the US) has nice budget lights. Rayovac's Indestructible series is also nice and you can find those in stores.
