I've accumulated about a half dozen lights in the last couple years, but they have all been mostly pocket lights and with the exception of a Tri-EDC, nothing over 400 lumens and nothing with any real strong throw ability. That changed yesterday when I got my new Rofis TR51 in the mail. I won't do a review as there are many other individuals here with far more skill in that department than I, however I will give some impressions. I unboxed it last night and immediately put 4 CR123's in it. I'll be using 2 18650's later, but as I just bought 2 of those as well, they weren't charged up. Went out to my 3rd floor balcony (apartment building) and turned it on. Wow! It is a blazer and I was amazed how far I could reach out. I was lighting up trees and the sides of building 2 blocks away easily. Very well built and it feels really good in the hand, and I'm really much liking the forward mode selector button. My only complaint would have to be with the case as it isn't the most well thought out design, but that is a minor quibble and one that should be easily rectified by replacing with something more protective and sturdy. All in all though, I couldn't be happier with the purchase.
