Simple, as title really.

I refuse to use XXXFire cells from ebay as we all know just how great they are, so I like to use good cells with good protection, in the US ect you can get decent sells for around $15-20 for the top end 3400 from a repectable brand but for the same cells here you are talking £20 a cell ($33) That is just robery in my mind!!!

Id really like to get some 3400 cells, Im looking at getting at least another four, but thats £80 ($135) in the UK! OMG!!!!

The best I have seen with decent quality so far is Xtar cells, (famous for there chargers) you can get them for around £12 a cell which is much better but I have only found them on ebay from one reputable seller so far.

So I was wondering were I can get Good cells in the UK at a reasonable price? (LEDfiretorchs/flashholics ect are all overpriced)

I cant honestly belive all us UK flashaholics have to put up with such extreme prices?

I dont want to order from US as by the time I have paid customs / royal fail ect it works out the same or more, I dont mind importing from the EU as Tax has already been payed I think???

Although Royal Mail no longer ship lions or something so I dont even know if this is even possable anymore??

(P.s Id love to try those new 3600Mah cells, they hold there voltage underload much better than 3400 and have the extra capacity but I dont think there available in the uk yet?)

Thats not to bad, they have that on LedFireTorch as well, its about the same as the Xtar cells that I know are very good.

But at that price it is still £55.80 for four, thats $92.? dollars, I bet you wont pay half that in the us for four cells?, and lets not forget those are not the top end Orbarontic or AW cells, although still good cells that I would be happy to use, it just seems the "Best" cells from AW and Orbatronic / keeppower are MUCH cheaper in the US, I know us stuff is normaly cheaper, and thats fine with me but the diffrence here is quite large and silly IMO.

I just cant understand why that is? Dose Anyone Know?

It cant cost that much to import them, especially in bulk!

Sorry this is half a rant and half looking for a serrious questoin.

Id like to see the good cells, from the likes of orbantronic / keeppower / AW for not much more than the us, maby aorund 10-15% more as a import premium? Id be happy even if we could just get high qualty cells for £10-12 deliverd.

One thing to keep in mind is that your British Pound sterling trades very well against our much weakened dollar, so if you order batteries from here you would basically be paying roughly 9 pounds for a $15 battery. Otherwise if you buy them from your country it may be more expensive. I would assume that the higher delivery cost may be made up for by your advantageous currency value. I could be wrong though.

Otherwise, there are many different e-cigarette sales shops in the UK, and they all sell Li Ion batteries. They may mostly be of the poop-fire brands, but you can also find Panasonics, AW's, etc.

Did find these (I have no problem ordering from overseas such as EU / China as no extra charges more often than not, just dont like import from USA if possable)

At £5 a cell is there any chanch they are real? They come protected (no idea how good the protection is) they say they are genuine 3400Mah cells, and if they are genuine cells the only difffrence is the PCB, they seem to have very good reviwes, the only diffrence other than the PCB is the lack of branding between this and say a Xtar/AW/Orbatronic yhea?

Might be worth a punt, as they are not your avrage ***Fire cell, that is asumeing there genuine, anyone here tried them or reviwed them?

In the UK two good sellers for batteries Flashaholics.co.uk and Ledfiretorches and they both offer CPF discounts. Not sure if they ship free within the UK for small purchases. EU wide you might want to consider nkon.nl (€4.50 for small items) and flashlightshop.de (€4.50 free shipping over €49).

When you buy from a EU country you just pay VAT once when you make the purchase so it doesn't really make a difference if you buy from the UK or another EU country. What might make a difference is that some sellers offer free shipping within the member state, other sellers don't, others offer free shipping EU-wide only you spend over a certain amount of money.

Flashaholics.co.uk: have mostly AW and Nitecore batteries.
Ledfiretorches: Fenix, EagleTac, and AW batteries.
nkon: plenty of brands of probably the lowest prices for batteries I have seen in Europe.
Flashlightshop: best prices for Fenix 18650s and also sell Ampmax batteries.

You basically need to figure out how much you want to spend and how much shipping will add to the overall price.

You can of course buy from outside of the EU but if you spend something like more than €22 (including shipping), or whatever the £ equivalent is, you risk getting axed with VAT + post collection fee: you can make a good deal or just end up waiting 3 to 4 weeks to pay more than you'd have if you had made the purchase within the EU.

I think I might check out EU sites (At least that's one of the good things about the EU...)

And €5 shipping is not an issue if you order them in bulk I guess as you save overall.

What is the lipo ban??? I though that was only some carriers now refused battery's but some will still take them?
