surfaces need to be cleaned, and the O-ring needs to be lubed at least once a month or more with heavy usage.
with all due respect, suggest you consider a different strategy
Do not flood the O Ring and threads with oil based lube.
Use a grease such as Nyogel 760g.
this is why I say that
in the past, when I used twisties with Nano oil for lube, I found the lube would flow down the threads and accumulated between the body tube and the head.
Because lube is non conductive, the light would become unreliable. I also found the O ring oil tended to dry and disappear, which led me to add more oil.
When I stopped using oil, and switched to Nyogel grease, it reduced how often I needed to wipe off the excess from the end of the body tube, and the contact ring in the driver.
I also found the O ring did not dry out, as the Nyogel is more persistent than Nano Oil. The main area of friction in a twisty, is at the O ring, that is the part I focus on. I limit the use of excess lube on the threads.
Here is an example of a freshly lubed light, using Nyogel 760G, which glows under UV:
I only put lube on the O ring and upper threads of the body tube, and wiped it around with my finger, to remove excess. The lube in the head is only from the direct contact with the Oring and body tube.
