What are these red LEDs?

Hey all,

Hope people don't mind me asking here instead of in the budget forum since it does concern LEDs rather then flashlights.

I came across several red LEDs on KD. I'm not planning to buy them and I'm aware they may change at anytime and they're probably just cheap no name Chinese LEDs but wondering if anyone has seen them before or can identify them.

Specifically KD product ID (not SKU) 5528 (is this made by PCB998/168?), 7631 (photos a bit poop) & 9857.

Are you asking about high performance red LEDs in general, or do you just want to know about those exact products?

I'd have thought that these are just like any other of the millions of specialised electronic components, where if you need to ask what they are for then you don't want one.

I use Red Luxeon LED lights for hunting in gun mounted WF-501B bodies. Most nocturnal prey don't seem to see red very well. In my experience, you can walk almost on top of rabbits etc with a bright red light; turn on a white one and off they go.

I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience or otherwise recognises these particularly products. KD's claimed specs are obviously completely useless, and they don't list a manufacturer.
