So if you were building a 4 led light what would you use? What battery and what driver?

I've been looking at batteryspace and would a 11.1v Li-Ion do the job with a maxflex?

The forward voltage on 4 led's would be approx 14v and the peak voltage from a 11.1v battery would be 12.6v according to batteryspace so that would work.

I guess it would need to be an 18v ish battery to work with a buck driver like the bflex

Seems 100% correct to me!

I'm going to run a Maxflex with 14,4V NiMH on my Penta handlebar light.

Hi,
i have tested an external laptop battery pack, bought off ebay for $59, with an output of 3.5-17V and 4000mAh li-ion cells , for my edipower 20w led light and it works great so far. Size is about 2 packets of cigarettes. You can find plenty of types listed there.

Hi, with a 7,4 volts battery, works perfectly, I have it checked.

Greetings - Saludos
