Ordered 18500 lithiums by mistake (instead of 18650)!!

What can I do with them? What flashlights do they fit in?

Thanks

Dave

I would guess that some 18650 lights may have a long enough spring to allow use of the 18500... or if a short spacer were added, that would do the trick. Have you tried one in your light yet? Diameter is still the same, it's just 15mm shorter.

I bought them for a Fenix TK11. Seems to be a lot of space between the battery and the spring

They fit in a Surefire M3 host. Built a tri-Cree one for a friend and that what it uses.

Oh wow, you bought 18500s.... I hope you have at least three?

Then, there's a KILLER application for it: The Wolf Eyes M90 Rattlesnake with the small "150" extender on it, and the 13V lamp assembly in it!

The light that comes out is really, really the best I've seen so far... it lights up a whole room with ease, and has a good, wide and bright hotspot and lots of spill also. That combination is quite unique....
First, I thought the SF C3 Centurion is BRIGHT.... well, it is, but the M90 13V is WAAAYYY brighter :whistle: :whistle: :whistle:

All you need is:
1. An M90 Rattlesnake, take the cheapest you can find (maybe the LED-tailcap is handy to you too, only costs a few $ extra)
2. the small extender with "150" in the type-number
3. a 13V D36 drop-in.

Look at PTS flashlights, they have all the parts (and the M90 of course :))

Are they button top or flat top. If button top two will work in the Peak FR 600 Lumen Law Enforcement Special.

Many of the Chinese lights that are designed for 2 x 18650 / 4 x CR123 and come with a removable extension tube on the back. With the extension tube removed 2 x 18500 fit perfectly. Ultrafire WF-1200L and Romisen RC-T5 are two that I know of that will happily take 18500.

Using equal signs to represent CR123A's

== is a single 18650
=== are two 18500's

So 50% more length gives you twice the voltage. If you bought them for a specific light, sell them and get the correct cells. If you're open to using them, consider a modified 9P (or equivalent) with a two cell module.

What charger you have ordered to these accumulators?

The 5 digit number is deciphered like : 18650 = 18mm ( diameter ) X 65mm ( length ) where the last ' 0 ' stands for cylindrical cell
Apparently to 18500 you hardly will approach.
