What do you have on your keyring 1xAAA or 1xAA light ?

Hi, wondering what is on your key ring 1xAAA or 1xAA lights?
(No 2016 or 2032 or 123 please)
Not a fan of the AAA format, never had any AAA lights, but looking to see what the consensus is.
All input appreciated.

I find AA a bit too large for key ring use, I'm very happy with my SS Fenix LD01, carried for the last couple of years.

I agree with Norm. I also find AA too large for my key ring and I also have a SS LD01 on my key ring.

Nothing on a keychain, seems awkward to me to use a small light on a keychain. It's easier to access a light in a belt pouch, IMHO. I do carry a AAA (Peak or Fenix) on a neck chain, & it's my most used light. My two cents.

I've carried my LD01 (AAA black anodized XRE or XPE, I forget) every day for at least around two years now. It's connected to my car key, remote and thumb drive. It's the perfect size for me in combination with a convenient power source.

Yep, Fenix LD01 SS AAA. It's the perfect combination of size, weight, and features ... and with 3 well spaced levels, I've got plenty of runtime/brightness options to cover most situations.

Fenix E05, small effective AAA,27 lumens more than effective, for a car key chain,EDC and daily use. Using them with AAA enelopes.

Just received my Fenix SS LDO1 yesterday from goinggear.com. Can't put this little light down. Went straight to key ring where I think it will be for a very long time. Two big thumbs up for Fenix on this one.

Just got a DQG II to replace a long (ok very very long) time used Fenix E0 (that's not a typo, not E01 or E10, E0, THIS one). Couldn't be happier!

i too, find AA too big for my keys.

Fenix E05 is what i have, its more of a backup to my main EDC.

iTP A3 EOS, used to carry the iTP A1 but it died when I left it in the car for 2 days of a very hot summer.

i use a AAA light, the iTP A3 Upgraded, but instead of the regular AAA, i use a 10550 batt inside so it pumps out 200+ lumens easily. the only trade off is that it gets very hot in about a minute or two. I usually use it on low (about 40 lums) or med (about a hundred lums) with fantastic runtime results! Max at 200+ lums is just for show! hahaha 🙂

Had a Quark 123 Tactical (no clip) on my keys for about 18 months. Recently upgraded (or down) to an EO1 with a lithium installed for that uber long runtime. I don't really use my keychain light, it's just there in case it's ever the only light within reach and I'm stuck somewhere all night.

I keep an EO5 clipped to a belt loop, a SC51 or EX10 SP in my left pants pocket and the Quark 123 now resides in my EDC bag, along with two lithiums for each light I carry. In theory, there's hundreds of hours of light with me at all times when I'm out and about.

Fenix E01 (with the steel wool treatment to make it more floody.) Great runtime and durability.

Photon on my keychain, Quark MiNi 123 in my pocket. (Soon to be replaced with a ZL SC31W.)
