What does 'PR' mean ie LED PR dropin

Did a CPF search but got nothing for PR. and the CPFwiki does not seem to know
either.
///could be it does not mean anything important if the wiki has no definition.
Still I'm curious. Anyone know what it means.
... it can't be Public Relations, or press release, or pattern recognition.

PR refers to a flange type light bulb of a specific shape. It's the same bulb you'll find in any $1 Eveready at the grocery store.

It means 'pre-focused'. It's the shape of the base of all modern flashlight bulbs that have smooth sides and the flange around the top, as compared to screw-in bulbs where you cannot guarantee the filament position relative to the focal point of the reflector.

A PR drop-in is basically a drop in replacement for a PR bulb.
