what does this mean? Ultra-high 3520K color temperature?

Can some one explain the 3000 3520 etc. temp thing to me? Is that how hot the bulb is? Or is it somthing to do with the color of the light?

Yes, degrees K is the expression of the colour of light.That's an excellent link from FILIPPO.:thumbsup:

But to put it simply, 3250K is a low colour temperature in relation to white light. It is yellow-ish, but not quite so yellow as a household incandescent lamp which is about 2000K. I suppose that in relation to that it could be considered 'ultra high'. :ironic:

Noon daylight - what we perceive as white light - is 5600K to 6000K.
