I was driving home tonight on a two lane when I pulled up behind what looked like a new Lamborghini (??). Guy was driving a bit erratically and looked like he was lost, and given I know what that feels like I wasn't a jerk and gave him some space. That's why I didn't read the logo on the back of the car. He eventually pulled over and I passed.

Head lamps were weird, but given we don't have too many exotics here in West Michigan we don't see much of this.

Head lamps were HID, and were pretty neutral in color. Likely close to 5000k. However, below each main headlamp was a row of half a dozen; what looked like LEDs in fairly tight reflectors.

I noted as I was driving away from him that his lamps were pretty obnoxious and yet didn't give very good coverage, but when the height of your car will decapitate any snail that doesn't duck..... :grin2:. What car was this likely?

Maybe a Ferrari 458 Italia?

One of the most gorgeous Ferrari's to date IMO.

I saw a truck with a similar thing a few weeks ago. I was hoping he'd follow me, so I could snap a pic of his headlights at a stoplight, because I was going to ask the same question, but forgot.

Instead of being below the headlamps, though, it circled them.

I really liked how it looked, too.

I'm about 85% sure it was an Audi.

Again, I didn't have a clear look at it because there was no streetlight and I was in a hurry to go home.

Yeah, at least from the rear, the R8 looks a lot like a Lambo. Not as much as the new Corvette' rips off a NSX though...... :naughty:

I did pay attention to his lights as I was driving off. Maybe different from the drivers perspective, but they looked prettier than they seemed to cover.

west michigan eh? i'm from GR originally (in the army so not there anymore) i miss that beautiful area like crazy!

Wow, that Ferrarri is beautiful!

Hey, Ferrarri design team! If you could come out with a new GT350 California, w/ dual throat Weber carbs, and that unmistakable Ferrari growl, I'm 1000% sure you would have a huge market, from those who think that all these modern supecars look exactly alike.

On topic, all I can think of is the Audi.

It's pretty neat that you saw such a cool car. Two days ago, my dad and I were going down the highway and an old guy in a Ferrari 380 convertible pulled out in front of us. Which partially annoyed my dad, who likes to do ~20mph above the speed limit, in the slow lane.

The guy was being real conservative with it, too. Going slow, checking his mirrors, being quiet and idling along. If I had a Ferrari, I could never have the self control to drive that slow, which, all things considered is probably why I'd never be able to own a Ferrari.:sigh:
