Hello everyone, I'm new here.
I used the search but my poor English does not help me decide. Can you help?

What and why?

- Fenix LD01

- LiteFlux LF2XT BLK

- 4seven quark mini 123

- 4seven quark mini AA

- Nitecore EZ AA

- Nitecore EZ 123

Thanks,
Jose

:welcome:

Quark MiNi 123 because it puts out a BUTTLOAD of light for it's size, it's only 2.8 inches (if i can remember right...) Pretty cheap, and it measures OTF lumens, Out the front. Not like the standard emitter lumens. Also, the build quality is excellent!! Get it and you'll love it!!

LF2XT
-Fully programmable (1 to 5 modes) in any sequence
-Variable brightness in any mode
-Variable frequency in strobe/beacon mode
-Easy access to high/fast strobe (momentary)
-Three minute auto shutoff option
-Battery voltage report
-SOS option
-Simple control option (highest, lowest, ramping up and down)
-Soft press tail switch
-Pocket clip

My favorite light. Not the brightest AAA light, but, in my opinion still the best.

Geoff

Quark Mini AA

Small, light weight, inexpensive, excellent build quality, easy to use, good output, AA batteries are readily available and dirt cheap

I like the Fenix PD10 because of the good throw and I like the UI. It twist in med/low/hi instead of low/med/hi like some other lights.

Where do you live?

What batteries are you going to use?

If you're like many of us who don't live in the U.S. CR123's are pretty expensive compared to AA's.

eg. Australia, 16 Duracell AA's $8. 1 Energizer CR123 $8.

Pretty smiple choice if you're not going the rechargable route.

CR123 has the advantage of brightness and run time and I havn't used a CR123 battery that wasn't bought online for very cheap in a long time. Can you not just order some CR123 and have them shipped to you like you do with lights?

AA batteries are still significantly cheaper.
