I used to get them at the Livingston Walmart.

Can't find them or even an empty peg for them.

Did they run into a lawyer situation or something?

I see Duracell precharged but they are nearly $13 for 4! I also saw Kodaks for much cheaper but some of the ones I have seem to have grown a bit opening up the label....

Anyhow I'd like to get 8 or 12 more Hybrids but gotta find 'em first.....

Haven't been in Frys lately and have never seen Hybriloops. I did get 4 Uniross Hybrios there some time back.

And as far as I can tell they work every bit as well as Rayovacs or Eniloops.

Never-the-less I shall consider a stop at the next Frys I pass.

I think I saw them at Target not too long ago. Can't be 100% sure. I've owed a charger and 4 of the AA Hybrids for about a year now.

Actually, I charged them up and put 2 in one of my flashlights about a year ago and forgot about it until now (the light is one of my emergency upstairs lights). And I just ran up and checked, they still work. So, score. Nice to know they are rechargeable and will carry the charge for a long time.

Re: What happened to Rayovac Hybrids??? (at Walmart)

I haven't seen them in either Walmart or Target here is SE Wisconsin.

At Walmart(which I go to frequently) I see some Kodak 'precharged'(IIRC), but they only come with a charger. I also see some Eneloops, but again only with a charger. It's been that way for the past 5-8 months or so.. I couldn't find any empty pegs that listed them as a separate entity.

So I'm also wondering what the heck is going on with Walmart and the availability of ANY kind of LSD cells. I could've sworn I got my second set of Rayovac Hybrids there, but I'm not so sure anymore.

Anyone know of some sort of deal that Walmart could have with battery maufacturers that prevents them from selling any kind of LSD cells as a separate entity(by themselves, without a charger) - at least in some areas of the country?

The "Hybriloop" is indeed the Uniross Hybrio, as described in the linked post. As near as I can tell, they are an exact clone of the Eneloop, hence the "Hybriloop" moniker.

Strike two.

Cleveland, TX no Hybrids nor empty pegs for them.

Another re-enforcement for my "if you find something good that works buy a lot! For they will discontinue, change or otherwise "F" it up by the time you need/want more!"

The regular Rayovac NimH don't look anything like the older ones. I'd almost bet money that Hybrids will be changed one way or another when they reappear.

Found me some good old Rayovac Hybrid 2100 at Frys down on 45s. $9.99 for what I KNOW does what I want is a relative bargain!

EDIT: While I was in there in the battery section POOF the lights went out. I immediately had my P2D out and helped a lady find something she was looking for. Then I searched until finding the Hybrids.

They had some sort of 3AAA Ledlenser on sale and I saw two of them being checked out at the madhouse register row! Yawn as a flashaholic light but better than the average $2 incandescent that most sheeple would get!

Same them at Ace Hardware today. $9.99 for a four pack.

Also saw Rayovac rechargeable at Walmart. They weren't the "hybrids", but the hybrids are the only rechargeable batteries rayovac advertises, so I don't know if they are the same or not.

Today for the first time ever I saw ROV Hybrids at Target. 4AA for $9.99. As far as I know, this is the first time Target has carried them.
