What is the metric size for AAA batteries?

I want to get some AAA rechargeable lithium batteries but I can't remember the size... is it 14500, 14650 or something else? Thanks.

It appears to be 10440: 10 mm diameter and 44 mm long.

That is correct.

Bear in mind protected Li-Ion cells are not available in this diameter, so if you do decide to get these, you should acquaint yourself with the safety procedures for using unprotected cells.
