I have a UBH E-series body with E bezel and tail and will be running 2 AW 17500 cells. I just want to make sure the IMR E2 350 lumen lamp doesn't deliver too much current for my poor protected AW 17500's.

Any help is appreciated, even if its with 2 IMR 16340's:D

P.S. Since I am about to order some IMR 16340 cells I was thinking of purchasing another bulb/lamp for testing.

What other E-series mod might be interesting? I think the IMR 700 lumen lamp for the M series in a Surefire hosts with shock isolation will be nice to see. Then maybe how it does in a KT-1 bezel:popcorn:

I just measured mine, 1.95-1.96 amps with two IMR16340's @ 4.24V apiece.

You PROBABLY won't run into problems, but that is a bit too much current for reliable and safe operation with P17500's in my opinion. Best case it will lessen the life of the cells a bit.
