I bought weird Surefire light.
Are there anyone who know this light?
I never seen before this type of light.
Head is KL4 and same Luxeon 5W led like old 100 lumens L4.
Body is E2d but clip is long type.
Tail cap is Z68 not same with E2d style tail cap.

Is is just assembled light by each parts? But still wonder why KL4 head is strike bezel and there is no marking of serial number or KL4.

It looks like someone pieced together an E2D body, an E2DL head, an Outdoorsman clip and a Scout Light tail. I actually have a battered E2D with an E2DL head with an LX2 clip and I love it... great user.

Edited to add: If you put an F04 on it, it will do flood or throw depending on what you need it for... for hiking I used flood to walk around with and pop off the diffuser to light up things in the distance. :)

The E2DL head is two piece, if I remember correctly. This looks like a three piece. I believe the scout like had a black KL4 head like this, and I looks like someone screwed a E2D incandescent strike bezel on it.

I swear I saw this one a while back on the Big Auction site? Correct me, please, if I am wrong. If it is from where I think it is, the fellow does lots of SF legos. They mostly end up looking neat. I like the look of this one.

Some added thought. When the e2d went led, was it tir then? I remember them being 120 lumens but don't remember if they were tir or had a reflector. They were single mode though. I always assumed they just used the p4 led like the l4 was using. Maybe this is an even earlier run then that? Or it was legoed..lol
