i am looking for the brightest host possible using 18650 run time is not an issue for me. can anyone direct me to a cool white xml drop in for it. also looking for aggressive strike bezel for it. thank you.

also id like it to be multi level if possible. h-m-l maybe a hidden double tap strobe. not needed though.

thats funny cuz im looking for a drop in with a tight beam and a long run time.
solerforce has models that describe their output, modes and runtime on there website.they run under $20.
however if you got alot of money im sure there are much brighter ones out there.

Intl-outdoor Store has a few dropins in 1.5, 2.5, and 3 amps plenty bright but that stainless steel host isn't the most ideal. Aluminum transfers heat 6 times better than stainless.

Manafont do a great XM-L T6 cool white, 3 mode (H-M-L) drop-in - sku 5720. My first experience with drop-in's, and highly recommended on BLF. At $15.98, a steal.

The three mode Ultrafire / Manafont three mode XM-L goes really well. Got one in my regular L2T.

thanks guys! im trying to decide between the manafront xml and the Intl-outdoor Store xml. the intl is claiming 945-1040 lumens! what do you think. also im trying to find out if the bezel on this can seperated from the head because i want to put it on my ss head and body. thanks!

hey when you get what you get PM me please and tell me what you think.
Im gonna hold off for a while.Really curious about the U2 myself.

ok i will. i bought the u2 from intl outdoor and the t6 from manafront. i will compare both! still need info on that bezel though. i hope it detaches

I've got a few of the intl-Outdoors dropins. 2 are at 3 amps and are very bright, the brightest xm-l's I own. Ones in a L2p and the other in a L2m they do get warm fast. They do cost a few dollars more but I think they are worth it. They do have a thermal safety I had one kick in after running the light for 20-30 minutes on high it powered down to med level. Since then they've been wrapped with foil.

A P60 host is a P60 host, there will be no difference in hosts if you put the same drop-in in all of them. The Manafont 3-mode is one of the best and least expensive XM-L dropins that is available. THe Intl-Outdoors one is also excellent and you can choose your tint I think. Manafont has been very slow in shipping lately, I've stopped using them. I-O is much more reliable.

i meant p60 drop in not host haha. thanks! i bought one from each well see which gets here first! i also got one from nailbender. ill compare all 3 once i have em. 🙂
