Here in the USA we're having Thanksgiving this coming thursday.
I've recently received a SY Dogfather (compliments of a great guy) and I'm gonna do it! :D
Any other KnifeNut suggestions?

Nothing exotic at our house...probably a Cutco carving knife which was a gift from a friend. Serrated seems to do a great job!

Most likely a Shun Wide Santuko that thing cuts like a laser

Henckels Santoku. Its thin blade makes it a great slicer. I had it razor-sharp (literally) yesterday for slicing sushi. It does a great job on turkey. My other favorite is a Henckels utility knife with a very narrow blade, almost like a fairly stiff fillet knife. It's great for taking apart joints and for working around bone.

All my best, and a Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Dirty Bob

Them Henckels are sweet DBob, I have a set of them and normally I'd use them, but this time I'm being crazy :D

boye custom 8" chef. I know the chef has a thick blade but that puppy will cut like no tomorrow with the dendritic steel blade.

Victorinox/Forschner 7" Filleting Knife. It is more flexy than the usual carving knives, which is handy for carving a turkey.

My Spyderco Military (the D2 version) cut our second turkey like butter. I actually finished carving it before my friend finished carving the first — and he was using an electric carving knife!

Kitchen knives? Who needs 'em!

Chris Reeve Nkonka to lift the hot bird from the pan to the cutting board and a Buck 6'' filet knife for the slicing duties.
