Ok, I like to ride the woods at night. I like to cruise through hunting clubs and shine the woods to see deer. "no i dont fire hunt, I load up my 2 sons and we look for deer, alot of fun"

I have been buying the l.e.d. lights because they are so efficient, small and cool, but i am not sure i can find a led light for this. Here is what it needs to do.

1. light up a big area of woods at atleast 100 yards. Sounds easy enough, but i want a flood.

2. I am hoping that it wont be such a cold light, maybe just a little warmth, "this i think would be the hard part".

3. run for 45 minutes or more on high, on rechargable batteries.

I am open to almost all suggestions unless you are talking about a 300.00 dollar or more light. I think i may get some p7 suggestions. i have been trying to get the "jist" on p7's, sounds interesting, wondering if i might be better off with an incan light . Hoping to get more good suggestions to study on. I have bought 2 new lights in the last 2 weeks, nitecore d10 with tritium, "love it" and eagletac t10c2 "just shined up about 6 deer with it tonight, but i want a hand cannon for the woods next" .

ps, we used to use the old "1 MILLION CANDLEPOWER" spotlights for this, might still be the best bet, but i thought i might look for something more modern.

That's a lot of light you're talking about to flood out 100 yards. That's a football field! Lighting a football field isn't a one light job. The best chance you have here is an HID light. Check out the N30 over in the spotlight section. It has a good balance of flood and throw so it will likely be your best bet. Not too expensive either.
