what surefire light is in this picture?

I'm fairly new to lights in general. on the sf battery page what light is this?

maybe I'm overlooking it on the products page but the only short light i see really is the e1b backup...

It looks like a Surefire L1 Lumamax, but the L1 is discontinued for a couple of weeks.

Yes. That definately looks like the last generation Surefire L1. It's been discontinued for about a year now. You can still buy it new from some stores who still have stock, from the bay of e, or more effectively from cpfmarketplace.

Currently, there are 2 other "short" 1 x cr123a Surefire lights that I am aware of: The E1L and the Titan. Out of them all, the E1L comes closest to looks to the L1. Now if you can wear the extra inch in length, you could go for a Surefire LX2, which as more output, a dual way pocket clip, and the same hi/low interface as the L1. It does run off 2 x cr123a batteries however. Alternatively you could wait until the new EB1 is released.
