What voltage is Surge?

I probably should look it up so I don't get corrected and make a fool of myself, but I'm going to go off memory anyway because I'm lazy. So if I remember right, I think the Surge uses 2 banks of 4-1.5V AA batteries (6 volts) and uses a 4.8V 1.6 amp bulb.
