What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

Purchased a Convoy T3 silver with a 519A 5000K. Again. Because I lost mine and I'm mad at myself about it.

Also bought a T2 with the SFT25R and simplified 4-mode driver for my brother as a very late birthday gift, after he told me he was caught at night having to use his motorbike's headlight to sweep a grassy field. Despite having a small number of torches including a Mini-M@g 2AA and my old C8, he just won't carry bulkier lights. I understand him on that, he's a motorcyclist after all. The T2 should be compact enough for him to EDC and avoid any repeats.

Last week I decided that was time for a new light. I purchased a Fenix LR35R Pro, a model just released by Fenix.
The flashlight is stupidly bright, it is not pocketable but it is a form factor that I know well. What set this flashlight aside from the crowd, is the interface: a central button to set the function: flood, spot, flood+spot, UV, or Red. The crown around the button is a potentiometer (or, very likely, an optical encoder) with a 270° rotation, which sets the brightness in a continuous fashion. The LR35R Pro has the semblances of an engineering masterpiece, with the exception of the rubber flap covering the USB-C charging port - which adopt the QC/PD protocol.
The light isn't cheap. It comes with two protected high-current 21700 cells with a capacity of 6,000 mAh each, and it is fantastic for a night walk.
Regards to all,
Anthony

I put an sw45k into the TS10SG, because I want to test the more focused beam as an EDC. I normally EDC a TS10 with triple sw45k, the beam is very floody. The TS10SG has a more focused hotspot:

the stock TS10SG w SFT on right really shines outdoors, reaches about twice as far as the light in the middle.. makes foliage look nice and green ;-)

The TS10SG w sw45k in the middle, throws about twice as far as the TS10 w triple sw45k on left.

Not for me. Third attempt at trying to get my mom a really good EDC flashlight, for her needs. First two were a bust (both different models)!

Interesting (but excellent) combination of gear. In addition to the Wuben, I see the Umnumzaan (great knife); is that also a Raspberry Pi?
Yep. That and the BNC antenna are parts of my Ham radio hobby. I very recently got the Umnumzaan. I've been on email "notify me" lists for 4 years and finally snagged one before they sold out.

Today I ordered a dual channel Emisar D2 with NTG35 4200K and Green. Because I wanted a Headlamp with a green beam. And because Im hearing good things about the NTG LEDs and want to see for myself.
