It's about proper manners. Nothing more. A random "Thank you" from a stranger isn't going to make me feel good. It does let me know I'm not dealing with a rude, joke of a human-being who literally only cares about themselves.Thoughts?
To my contention: how does it make you feel when your good deed isn't acknowledged, and why do you think you feel that way? It's about proper manners. Nothing more. I've honestly gotten to the point where either way.... It doesn't make me feel anything. As a kid, I grew up thinking that Humanity in general is Noble and Good. Now that I'm 50, I learned quite awhile back that most of Humanity is selfish, worthless trash! Ironically, it makes me intentionally look for those individuals who are the rare exception to that rule.To my contention: how does it make you feel when your good deed isn't acknowledged, and why do you think you feel that way?
He didn't want to become an impromptu organ donor LOLA few weeks back I saw an elderly gentleman walking in the rain MILES away from wherever he'd be heading (Unless his destination was more highway)
I offered a lift or at least an umbrella and he told me to F*** off 😂

"But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”"
