It's a digital watch but in her case the "face" is programmed to look like an analog. It has a very cool date wheel 13/Fri. But how does it rotate? I can't see the window, maybe I need my first cup of joe ;-)

That watch is the most '90s thing I have seen in a long time.View attachment 67429
Cool, rainy day 1990's watch from Japan.
And it looks well built 🌊🤙That watch is the most '90s thing I have seen in a long time.
I generally don't like a cyclops but that one looks well integrated. Yes, that looks cool.View attachment 67429

The cyclops looking window on that watch is applied to the dial underneath the crystal. It's not actually a magnifer.I generally don't like a cyclops but that one looks well integrated. Yes, that looks cool.
I should clarify what I have learned since my earlier post. Firstly, I did get a successful purchase from AliExpress. It was just a case of changing the address format. I just received a Corgeut (homage of the Omega Railmaster). Photos later.Well that's quite a story.
Ali Express won't deliver here so I can't order from them. My part of the world is a bit of a black hole as far as deliveries are concerned. I might be able to cheat but I'll have to try it on something quite cheap to see.
Amazon UK sells them but the negative feedback was disturbing (12% of 1 star ratings for one watch). Given your comments about good quality (which I believe), I feared that they might not be kosher. Having said that, I did order an Invicta watch (model 26970) from Amazon and was completely satisfied.
So I ordered from "Paganidesignwatches". It all went well until the tracker told me that the watch had been "returned to sender". I immediately emailed them and asked for my money back. Both emails (hotmail and gmail) bounced back with the message that the email address did not exist. I contacted my credit card company and will have to wait and see if I get any joy.
All this is a shame as the watches you have shown us on CPF are all good looking designs. Including the one above.
I won't give up trying.
CC refund actioned today. A lesson learned.Yeah, don't waste your time with that company. Contact your credit card provider and do an immediate credit card charge-back. Only way you'll get your money back.
I can't compete with your collection but here's my Mambo watch bought from a surf shop about 30 years ago. I have no idea who actually manufactured these.View attachment 67429

Nice watch. Is it a hand wind?I can't compete with your collection but here's my Mambo watch bought from a surf shop about 30 years ago. I have no idea who actually manufactured these.
Its not a hand wind. Its a quartz - on the back it says "Japan Movement" but no other clues. Its very accurate to within a few seconds a month. I personally love the electric blue face.Nice watch. Is it a hand wind?
Back in the day Mambo competed with brands like Stussy and Vision Street Wear in Australlia. Billabong was around but didn't have the flamboyant styles like those three did with loud Hawaiian prints and bold colors.
The watch may have been produced by Orient or Seiko, maybe Citizen but since there's no numbers or letters on the bottom area of the dial it's not obvious who made it. The case back may show some clues too.
That's a good combo. That blue is very nice.Ti and Perlon make for incredibly light wear.

Thanks! That's a good combo. That blue is very nice.
I have several modern Timex watches. They're a good value. I don't expect they'll still run in 50 years but it's pretty doubtful I'll be around then to know.PS - Although the Timex watches were quite cheap, I admire their simple honesty.
